A three day December symposium is planned in “sunny New Zealand” for North American legal and financial professionals, investors and entrepreneurs to explore investment opportunities, living and retiring, doing business, global asset protection and international taxation planning in New Zealand and the Pacific rim countries.

Included among the more than a dozen speakers will be David Tanzer himself, a finacial and asset protection lawyer, former judge and academic, along with New Zealand lawyers, tax experts, real estate experts, bankers and trust officers, immigration specialists and officials and representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce in New Zealand.
According to Tax-News.com the World Bank, which ranks the ease of doing business in 155 economies of the world, puts New Zealand first; it is fourth for ease of starting up a business; second for ease in dealing with licences; fourth for ease of hiring and firing; first for ease of registering property and seventh for ease of getting credit.
And yes, United States attendees who have a business purpose to learn about New Zealand, the Cook Islands and related Pacific rim countries may be eligible for a US tax deduction for the registration fee, accommodation, travel and related costs.
